The Town of Cincinnatus is located in upstate central New York and is one of the 19 municipalities in Cortland County. With a population of 1,051 people, the Otselic River is central to the town. The school which serves Cincinnatus and other neighboring towns is located in the Town of Cincinnatus.

LEGAL NOTICE ANNUAL ELECTION OF CINCINNATUS FIRE DISTRICT DECEMBER 9, 2025 Please take notice of the annual election of the Cincinnatus Fire District scheduled to be held on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm at the Cincinnatus Ambulance Station for the purpose of electing one (1) commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030. Each candidate seeking said District Office shall file their name with the Secretary of the District, Richard M. Lambrecht, Jr. PO Box 144, Cincinnatus, NY 13040 no later than December 4, 2025.
